SHIT2POWER secures funding

03.09.2024

We’re thrilled to announce that our alumni SHIT2POWER has secured a EUR 150k investment from the RAG-Stiftung via the BRYCK funding program. Alongside better ventures club & other exciting angels, we are participating in their successful past pre-seed round. 🚀

Former Exist scholarship holders Nina Heine & Fabian Habicht co-founded SHIT2POWER at Berlin’s Humboldt University in February 2023. Their mission: Turning wastewater treatment plants into power plants.

Why they joined BRYCK? Hear what Nina says:

„With its strong energy and industrial sector, the Ruhr region offers us great potential to bring our technology into scaleable use“

🏆 SHIT2POWER’s success story continues: The company has received several awards, including the ‚Gründungspreis+‘ from the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz, the IDEE-Förderpreis from J.J. Darboven Holding AG & Co. KG, and won the contest to represent the Land Berlin at the Startup Germany Summit 2024 among 16 finalists from each federal state.

✅ They already reached this year’s major milestone and brought their first container plant live.

🙌 Congrats to this track-record, investment & progress! Keep up your important work for clean water & energy, Team SHIT2POWER! We are already looking forward to your upcoming SEED Round.

💡 We want more high-potential tech startups to emerge from universities just like SHIT2POWER. Therefore, we’ve joined forces with 3 universities to build an internationally recognized Startup Factory in the Ruhr area. Stay tuned for more updates coming soon!
